OUR PRICING - WHY ARE OUR PUPPIES SO EXPENSIVE?

This price increase does not apply to any deposits currently taken or outstanding credits.

Why Our Puppy Prices Have Increased

We want to share openly and respectfully why our puppy prices have recently gone up. As always, the health, care, and happiness of our dogs are at the very center of every decision we make. We refuse to compromise on their well-being, and maintaining the level of quality we believe in has become significantly more expensive.

We feed our dogs high-quality nutrition—not the most expensive on the market, but absolutely not inferior food. We use veterinarians who offer fair pricing, but the reality is that monthly medications, routine check-ups, health clearances, and unexpected emergencies add up quickly. Our insurance costs, registration fees, and the expenses associated with adding new breeding dogs or using outside studs have all increased as well.

To continue giving each dog the time and care they deserve, we need a well-trained team. Unfortunately, in the current economy, we can no longer maintain the number of employees necessary at our previous pricing. We are also reducing the number of dogs in our program so that each one continues to receive exceptional care. Even with these adjustments, we’ve been spending more than we’ve been making for quite some time.

In addition, we have scaled back our participation in dog events. These events are how we demonstrate the quality, structure, and temperament of our dogs—but they are also costly. We believe strongly in proving our breeding dogs and completing all recommended health clearances before producing puppies, and we will never compromise on that standard.

For these reasons, we made the difficult decision to increase our puppy prices. We fully understand that not everyone is looking for the level of quality and care we provide. If a lower price is your main priority, we wish you the very best in your search. There are breeders who charge less, but it is not possible to maintain the health standards, ethical practices, and quality of life we uphold at a discounted cost.

Finally, we want to gently remind families that AKC registration is simply a record-keeping system—it does not guarantee health, temperament, good looks, or responsible breeding. Those things come only from the breeder’s dedication, ethics, and investment in doing things the right way. Breeders that have the same quality that we do and offer the same attention to care, health and rearing are currently pricing their puppies at $3500 - $6000 for family companions.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting responsible, ethical breeding. Our commitment to raising healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppies remains unwavering.
